Dishing on Dish Society
In my two years of food blogging I've had the privilege of being invited to eat at some pretty amazing places. I've enjoyed fine dining, fair food, exclusive openings and menu relaunch events, but these days I RSVPs are few and far between. A few months ago I accepted a full time position at a marketing firm, and now my days are filled with....you'll never guess....writing! I get off later in the evening which leaves no time or interest for going to events, and even if I did, the last thing I want to do when I go home is write. It's like the creativity in me gets drained to a drop by the end of the day and when it comes time for me to write for myself I l feel like I've left the words on a document back at the office.
Although I feel like a kid that can't come out to play when I scroll through Instagram and see all the fun foodie events my blogger peers are attending, I've also been given the opportunity to get back to blogging for fun and not for food. Back in the day I took pictures of pretty food and wrote about it in the hopes of connecting deserving restaurants and chefs with the people and palates that would them the most. These days I indulge my love of food at Dish Society. My office is located at a mixed use development where every other building is a restaurant. Even with a plethora of options that range from sushi to cheese bar, Dish Society is still my go to spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
My Breakfast Favorite- Grilled Chicken Breast and Gouda Grits
One of the things that I love about Dish Society is that the majority of their ingredients are sourced from local suppliers. Their menu features seasonal and healthful modern twists on traditional dishes. They also offer healthful juices and elixirs, local craft beers, wine, and hand crafted cocktails. Here are just a few of my favorite dishes, but by no means all that Dish has to offer.

BANANA FOSTER & CORTADO
Funny enough as I write this my co-worker and I are sitting at Dish eating a fried apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Everyday we ask each other what we have a taste for, knowing that the answer is always, and probably forever, going to be Dish Society. I keep waiting to get tired of eating ther but I the flavors, freshness, and menu options never disappoint. Dish has 3 locations in the Galleria, Katy, and Memorial area. They offer delivery services through Doordash, Favor, and a few other delivery providers depending on the location. Dining hours are listed below.
Breakfast: Monday- Friday 7am-10:45am

Blogging for me has become a significant challenge due to my new work schedule, and attending food related events to share with you readers has also become a struggle. It's safe to say that I'll only be opening my laptop and for restaurants and culinary experiences that are worth my time and energy to share, and Dish Society is inarguably one of those very worthy restaurants worth every dollar and every word I've given them.
